Europa League final: Keith Jackson predicts outcome of Rangers v Frankfurt
Rangers will face German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final in Sevilla on Wedensday evening [May 18].
The Gers have lost the Scottish Premiership title to Celtic, but now they have a chance to rewrite history with a win on Wednesday.
Keith Jackson, the columnist for the Daily Record, says that it is “fated” that the Gers will win the trophy.

Jackson wrote for The Daily Record (16 May, page 38): “This tournament has had Rangers’ name written all over it for some time. They are good enough to get over the line in Seville even without a striker. In fact, it feels almost fated.”
Confident
The Bears will be pretty confident ahead of this game.
They have come a long way this far beating some top-quality sides, and they should get the job done.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is sweating on the fitness of Kemar Roofe, but the striker has recently hinted that he could make a return just in time [Daily Record].
Rangers will be heavily boosted if Roofe returns to action, but even if he fails to recover, the team will be ready. It is more of a psychological preparation over anything else.

The Bears defeated Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig en route to the final, and they have one more German team to beat to lift the prestigious trophy.
Frankfurt are no pushovers either. They defeated West Ham in the semi-final, and are very strong in counter-attacks.
James Tavernier has once again enjoyed a phenomenal campaign, while the likes of Ryan Kent, Connor Goldson, and John Lundstram have been outstanding as well.
A massive performance is required on Wednesday.
In other Rangers news, One 25-year-old could now be deemed as surplus to requirements at Ibrox this season.
