Rangers fans make Andy Halliday joke in Hearts game
Rangers official media partner Heart and Hand shared a funny moment from the 3-1 win over Hearts on Saturday afternoon (May 14).
Andy Halliday, who now plies his trade for Hearts, is still held in high regard by the Ibrox faithful.
They joked that he’s still playing for them and chanted that he’s going to Seville to play in the Europea League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Via their official Twitter account, Heart and Hand wrote, “Rangers fans singing’Andy Halliday, he’s going to Seville’.”
It was a nice and friendly atmosphere during the Hearts game and there were even chants of John Souttar.
The centre-back agreed a deal to join Rangers in January, but they failed to sign him immediately and will have to wait until the summer to register him.
Regardless, fans already see him as a Gers player and treated him just like that during the game.
However, the time for fun and games is over and all eyes are now on Seville and hopefully, van Bronckhorst delivers the club their first European trophy in 50 years.
It’s not going to be easy, but nothing in football is and we totally back this team to get the job done in Spain.
We’re hoping to see Kemar Roofe, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo go all guns blazing for the clash and they absolutely can ensure that the Gers end up on the winning side.
