Amad Diallo posts Twitter message after Rangers win v Ross County
Amad Diallo has shared a brilliant message on Twitter after Rangers earned a 4-1 victory over Ross County on Wednesday at Ibrox (11 May).
The Gers forward scored the final goal of the match, while the other goals have come from Scott Wright, James Tavernier and Fashion Sakala.
The youngster joined on loan from Manchester United, and he may have played his last game at Ibrox.
Diallo wrote on Twitter: “We stay focused until the end.”
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has remained coy when asked recently about the future of Diallo, so most likely he will return to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Rangers still have three games left to play in this season, all of them are away from Ibrox. So, Diallo may have played his last game at this iconic venue.
His loan spell at Rangers hasn’t been great, but he has shown plenty of potential.
He’s played just 11 times for the club since arriving in January, and has struggled to get into the starting-line up on a regular basis.
After making an impressive debut, it was thought that Van Bronckhorst has pulled off a masterstroke signing, but he faded off quickly.
He was poor in the Old Firm clash against Celtic, but the experience will help him become a better player.
The Dutchman probably has seen his potential, but you need more to earn the trust of your manager.
Diallo will have a chat with the new United boss to check whether he remains in his plans for next season.
Will Rangers look to sign him again on loan in the summer? Highly doubtful.
