View: Rangers fans must be very careful with ultras out in Seville for final
Rangers fans have to exercise caution whilst watching the Gers play in the Europa League final in Seville next week [May 18].
The Germans have run riot in Europe this season seemingly taking over everywhere they go with their invasion of the Nou Camp the perfect example.
When the Hammers and Frankfurt shared the city of Seville during their round of 16 away legs – the Bundesliga outfits’ fans instigated the trouble by attacking English fans.
Frankfurt were the instigators yet again Irons supporters flocked to Germany to watch their team in the semi-final – leaving fans hospitalised and unable to watch the game – what a shame it would be if Light Blues fans had to miss out on a once in a lifetime European final.
These aren’t just football fans, they are ultras – far worse than any hooligan. They pulled up on a peaceful group of West Ham fans simply in a bar trying to enjoy the atmosphere before a European away game which really does sum them up.
There is no doubt these fans will be in Seville for the final and that is why Rangers supporters have to be so, so careful.
Nobody wants to watch their team reach the final, spend a lot of money getting there and have the experience ruined by some idiots.
The police in Spain are a lot more serious than in Germany and certainly England after the trouble that was allowed to happen there. They soon put an end to the commotion in Seville before it got out of hand which will ease the Light Blues fans’ minds.
Hopefully, it is a straightforward European away day, without any trouble, that results in the Bears bringing home a trophy.
