Graham Spiers cannot believe eyes in rage at major Rangers admission before huge Europa League final

Graham Spiers cannot believe that Rangers will likely not be doing an Ibrox Beamback for the huge Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.

Stewart Robertson confirmed on Thursday [12 May], that the Bears staff needed to make that happen will likely be in Spain with the club.

Spiers flew into a Twitter rant, insisting that it is “hard to believe” that there wouldn’t be any technicians or electricians available to make it happen.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Spiers could not believe the decision made by the club given the lack of tickets available in Seville.

“This is a really bad call by Rangers,” he wrote.

“Surely to goodness the club can sort a ‘live feed’ to fans back at Ibrox? Are there seriously no technicians or sparkies available to do it? Hard to believe.”

Shocking.

We cannot believe that the club and Robertson are not trying with all they can to make this happen ahead of next Wednesday, with no home games left to play now.

Before travelling to Seville, the Bears play Hearts in Edinburgh, and surely some workers would be available to get this set up over the weekend and the ticketing could start immediately.

Given how few tickets UEFA have released for the final for each set of fans, Ibrox would surely get sold out with ease in what is our biggest game in over a decade.

It makes no sense.

We thought we had turned a corner and that we were all on one side going forward, but this is a major step backwards by Robertson and the board who have simply failed us fans.

This would be a real chance to bring in more windfall too, but it looks as though the club are on their way to making a major mistake here – let’s hope it doesn’t backfire.
