Super Computer predicts Rangers v Frankfurt Europa League final result

A Super Computer has predicted the Rangers v Eintracht Frankfurt Europa League final.

Gers managed to overcome the odds against RB Leipzig and made it to the grand finale.

However, the Super Computer has made them outsiders for this clash, only marginally.

FiveThirtyEight crunch the numbers once every few days and things change contingent on injuries and form.

As things stand, the German side is given a 52 per cent chance of winning the trophy with Gers on 48.

While it could be viewed as evens, Frankfurt are ever so slightly the favourite.

They have given Gers the same score in attack and a better defensive score.

That clearly should mean that they should be favourites for this game.

RB Leipzig are a better team than Frankfurt and the Scottish side beat them over two legs.

That should mean that they would fancy their chances against Frankfurt as well.

Regardless, Gers fans would not worry too much about these kinds of things.

Whatever the odds say, they’re going to cheer their team as if they’re going to win their first European trophy since 1972.

Hopefully, Giovanni van Bronckhorst can silence his critics and get the job done on the biggest night of his managerial career.

Winning that game sees Rangers qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League and that will help the fans get over the fact that they did not win the league this season.

In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
