RB Leipzig employee gushes over Ibrox atmosphere after Rangers reach final
RB Leipzig coach Tom Worville has raved over the best atmosphere he has ever felt at a match as RB Leipzig faced Rangers at Ibrox.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side saw off the Bundesliga outfit 3-2 in the semi-final tie, successfully overturning the 1-0 deficit suffered at the Red Bull Arena in the first leg.
The Bears can now look forward to the Europa League final in Seville where they will face yet another German side in the shape of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Despite losing, Worville was left in awe of the atmosphere the Light Blues fans produced.
He said on Twitter: “Was a privilege to be at Ibrox last night for the game, not the result we wanted but easily the best atmosphere I’ve ever felt at a match.”
Incredible.

That was the best atmosphere Ibrox has seen in a very long time.
The whole ground was rocking from start to finish and nobody wanted to leave after the game.
The celebrations could have gone on for hours as the players lapped up every single moment of their amazing European campaign so far this season out on the pitch.
A big part of their success has been because of Ibrox – the impact it has is unreal.
Several times the Gers have had to overturn losses suffered in the first leg and every time the home crowd has given them the boost, they need to do the business.
Rangers can now look forward to a European final and they will be confident they can go on and win it considering the teams they have beaten in the competition so far.
The only slightly worrying thing is that final will be at a neutral venue and the Bears can credit a lot of their success in Europe this season to the Ibrox factor over two legs.
