Adrian Durham gushes over Rangers in 'greatest nights ever' Ibrox view

Ibrox witnessed one of the “greatest nights ever” as Rangers booked their place in the Europa League final, according to Adrian Durham.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side beat RB Leipzig 3-2 over two legs and now faces another Bundesliga outfit in the shape of Eintracht Frankfurt in the final.

Durham paid homage to “best on earth” John Lundstram’s match-winning performance after the game.

He said on Twitter: “Ibrox, Belinda Carlisle, John Lundstram. One of the greatest nights ever. ‘Ooo baby do you know what that’s worth John Lundstram is the best on earth Silky scouser, just what we need, He’s gonna win us the Europa League.’ Well played every Rangers player. See you in Seville.”

This Rangers team just doesn’t know when it is beat, does it? All season in Europe they have laughed in the faces of the many that have tipped them as the underdogs at every stage of the competition – where they are now one of only two teams left, fighting for the trophy.

This has been written in the stars all season with van Bronckhorst’s side seemingly being one-upped by their butter Glaswegian rivals in the league.

The Hoops can have the title this year – if the Light Blues win the Europa League and book themselves a place in next year’s Champions League not one single Gers fan will care.

Not to mention the opportunity of doing the double with Hearts will to play in the Scottish Cup final in a couple of weeks’ time.

There are two huge games on the horizon and if the Bears can win them both, they can make history. They will have to be very cautious of Frankfurt though who have made it to the final on merit, much like the Scots.

In other Rangers news, Kenny Miller has flown to the defence of a rarely seen Rangers ace after an “abysmal” view of a Celtic incident.
