BBC seem to go out of their way to win over Rangers fans

BBC appear to have gone out of their way to win over the Rangers fans ahead of the RB Leipzig Europa League semi-final clash.

Two days on from the passing of legendary kit man Jimmy Bell, they touched base with former European finalists Steven Whittaker and Neil Alexander.

Both weighed in with their tributes and they went with Whittaker’s comments that stated that Bell should be put into the Rangers Hall of Fame.

Via their official Twitter handle, BBC Sport Scotland, shared the quote, “I don’t think Jimmy’s name on the Rangers Hall of Fame would be out of place.”

It looks like the BBC are mending bridges with Gers fans and this was a very thoughtful compilation.

Bringing in two European finalists ahead of the RB Leipzig game clearly shows what they’re planning to do.

They’re absolutely spot on with what they’re saying about Bell.

He was this larger than life figure at the club who has overseen the reigns of many managers and has seen players get promoted from the academy and end up retiring at the club.

There’s going to be a minute of silence ahead of the RB Leipzig clash and we think that’s the right gesture to do at the current time.

However, if there is a mural at Ibrox for him or if he goes into the Hall of Fame, it certainly merits it to celebrate his outstanding life at Ibrox.

In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
