Super Computer predicts if Rangers will beat RB Leipzig to make it to Europa League final

Rangers are not expected to beat RB Leipzig and overturn the one-goal deficit to make it to the Europa League final.

The German side dominated the first leg and ended up winning it by a 1-0 scoreline.

However, despite the second leg being played at the Ibrox, Gers are given just a 16 per cent chance of winning by two goals.

FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers on their Super Computer and they expect Leipzig to make the final.

Currently, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men just have an 8 per cent chance of winning the trophy.

Odds stacked against

Rangers have it all to do in the second leg of their Europa League clash.

They looked like they were taking a draw back to Scotland with them, but a wonder goal threw a spanner in the works.

However, they have recovered from a goal down in the past this season against Braga and certainly can do the same against Leipzig.

In the first leg, the Germans were exposed to the counter attack and van Bronckhorst certainly will target the frailties in their defence in the second leg.

Hopefully, the Ibrox support will give the players much-needed inspiration and they can go out there and deliver on the biggest day of their season.

After the disappointment at Celtic, this is precisely what the players and fans need to end the season well and nothing is beyond reach for the 55-time champions.

In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
