Jim White blanks Martin Keown live on talkSPORT after 'extraordinary' Rangers view v RB Leipzig

Jim White has blanked Martin Keown live on talkSPORT in the past 24 hours after he attempted to shower praise on Rangers.

The talkSPORT pundit labelled the Bears’ run in the Europa League as “remarkable” as they go into their semi-final second leg with RB Leipzig only 1-0 down.

White wasn’t interested though and changed the conversation straight back to English side West Ham United for no reason.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan yesterday [29 April, 10:24 am], Keown saved a special mention for the Bears.

“Rangers going back to Ibrox, can they replicate that?” he said.

“No Roofe, no Morelos – where are the goals coming from? That’s where the strength in depth and resources, I think what Rangers are doing is quite remarkable when you look at their turnover.

“Rangers doing exceptionally well.”

White appeared to not care and instantly changed the subject: “Yes, on West Ham though…”

Got to be kidding…

All of the talk was on West Ham, and you would have thought that White would have wanted more on Rangers.

If the Premier League side getting this far is deemed extraordinary, Rangers’ achievements are 100 times that given the budgets.

As well as that, the Bears have had to knock out the likes of Borussia Dortmund to get to this stage including a famous 4-2 win in Germany.

Should this be an all British final next month in the Europa League, we hope that White doesn’t forget the Scots as he has here.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his men won’t be getting ahead of themselves though, and all focus will first be on Celtic tomorrow [01 May].

Win that and then we can start thinking about the second leg against Leipzig, this promises to be another huge week.

In other Rangers news, One 25-year-old could now be deemed as surplus to requirements at Ibrox this season
