Leon Balogun sends brilliant reaction on Twitter ahead of Leipzig v Rangers

Rangers will believe they can get a positive result against RB Leipzig and win the semi-final clash over the two-legged tie when they meet on Thursday in the Europa League.

The Gers defender, Leon Balogun, has reacted to a Twitter post from the Europa League official Twitter handle, and he looks proud of what the club have achieved so far.

The Gers are missing several key players for this game, with Kemar Roofe and Aaron Ramsey missing for the Glasgow giants.

Balogun wrote on Twitter: “What a journey so far.”

Get the job done!

What a journey it’s been from the Gers.

They have taken the hardest route by reaching this far, beating the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Red Star Belgrade and FC Braga on their way.

RB Leipzig are a strong side and they are in impeccable form at the moment, but the Gers are capable of causing an upset here.

They have beaten Dortmund away from home already, but can they do it without two of their top strikers – Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe?

Balogun is expected to keep his place in central defence alongside Connor Goldson, and their job will be vital in the first leg.

Given the quality of the opposition, the Gers should try to remain as compact at the back as possible, keeping their concentration throughout.

If they can keep their composure throughout, and manage a draw, the Gers can feel confident about winning the tie in the return leg at Ibrox.
