Rangers official media partner blown away by what van Bronckhorst did at half-time v Motherwell

Heart and Hand have credited Giovanni van Bronckhorst for the Rangers turnaround v Motherwell at half time.

Gers beat their Motherwell 3-1 and sealed the three points comfortably come the final whistle.

However, with the score 1-1 at half-time, the title race appeared to be drifting further away.

Via their Twitter account, Gers’ official media partner wrote, “Excellent win given the circumstances. Credit to Gio for an excellent HT reset and to Wright and Sakala – squad players stepping up is something we haven’t had enough of this season.

“Now for Leipzig!”

Great win

The three points were important for Rangers to keep in touch with Celtic in the title race.

Gers lost their local rivals and the pressure was mounting on them to win every game to close the gap.

They did that against Motherwell and secured three crucial points to stay on the Hoops’ toes for as long as they can.

Another game against Celtic, gives van Bronckhorst’s men some hope as to where the title is heading this season.

Failure to win puts Rangers out of the title race and they can bid farewell to the title.

It’s highly unlikely that Celtic suddenly go on a poor run of results and lose two or maybe even three games to give Rangers a chance to claw their way back into the title picture.

Right now, all they can do is win their games and hope their rivals have a bad day at the office and also lose to them when they face off next.

In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
