Rangers want to sign Stoke attacker Jacob Brown, battle talks set to begin - report
Rangers want to sign Stoke City attacker Jacob Brown this summer, according to Football League World.
The online outlet shared on their website that the Bears are set to rival Premier League clubs such as West Ham and Brentford.
Stoke are planning to open contract talks imminently as they plan to battle all of the interest in the Scotland international.
Brown is set to go into the final year of his contract at the Bet365 Stadium next season, with his future up in the air.
It is suggested that although Stoke want to keep the attacker, a tempting offer may be too good to turn down.
The 24-year-old looks set to be put in a position where a big decision will need to be made on his immediate future.
Big summer ahead.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is going to have a number of decisions to make this summer as he goes into his first full window.
There will be players leaving, and numerous incomings as he looks to mould his squad into what he wants at Ibrox.
With inevitable interest coming for the likes of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos, big decisions will need to be made.
Brown may be a target should we manage to keep our star men, but if they leave, something bigger will need to be looked at.
The Scotland international would be a much cheaper option, but surely only a squad rotation player at first, and we could need much more.
Ross Wilson hasn’t set the world alight over the past year with some of his dealings, and it is time for him to prove his worth.
Is Brown the man to do that? We are not yet convinced.
