Chris Sutton reacts as Kris Boyd sends Bobby Madden message after Rangers win v Celtic

Chris Sutton has dropped a bitter image after Rangers smashed Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-finals on Sunday afternoon.

Bobby Madden was once again in the headlines after his performance left many of our rival fans nearly in tears.

Kris Boyd didn’t care though and even sent the official a message on social media appearing to thank him for his work at Hampden Park.

Sutton shared the image on his personal Twitter account, hours after going beserk at what he saw from Madden on the big stage.

Madden’s post simply read: “Happy Easter one and all.”

The image was him walking out the Old Firm teams in what has been the most hotly contested for years this season.

Boyd poked fun by using the side-eyes emoji and writing: “Same to you.”

Boyd knows exactly what he is doing here, and it worked a treat with Sutton falling for the bait nearly immediately.

There is no need to be so wound up by the events of Hampden Park, with the Bears clearly the deserved winners in the end.

It happens every single time that a decision goes in our favour, someone, more often than not Sutton, has something to say about it.

We’re convinced that with each passing penalty that goes our way, another tear falls to the ground on the other half of Glasgow.

Now it is time to look ahead to the final with Hearts, and we doubt it will be Madden taking charge of that one given the reaction to what happened yesterday.

Bring it on.
