Ally McCoist rages at disallowed Rangers goal v Braga, worst decision he’s ever seen
Ally McCoist was left raging at the officials’ decision to disallow Rangers a goal against Braga last night, calling it one of the worst decisions he has ever seen.
Borna Barisic was deemed to have deliberately used his hand before crossing for Kemar Roofe to head home, with VAR stepping in.
McCoist raged that Barisic needs to be in the circus if that was a deliberate use of the hand against the Croatian.

Speaking live on BT Sports coverage last night, McCoist flew off the hinges at the decision made in the first half.
“Bottom line, one of the worst decisions I’ve seen this season,” he said.
“The referee gives the goal, he obviously comes over and an obvious error has to be made for him to change that decision, so therefore the referee thinks that is a deliberate handball.
“If that’s a deliberate handball, Barisic should be in the circus.”

Shocking.
We still cannot believe that this was given as deliberate.
Barisic was inches away from his man and the ball was headed into him at point-blank range – so how on earth is he meant to get out of the way?
Are you telling us that this would have been given as a penalty if it was in our own box? That surely cannot be the case.
Roofe had two goals disallowed, but he finally got his moment in extra time when he smashed home the winner.
That isn’t the point though, and we wouldn’t have been forced to play an extra 30 minutes ahead of another huge game on Sunday with Celtic.
If this is how VAR works, maybe we need a rethink of bringing it into the Scottish game as this was embarrassing.
