BBC Sportscene pundit Richard Foster stunned by Borna Barisic in Rangers v Braga
Richard Foster has been left blown away by Rangers defender Borna Barisic after the huge win over Braga on Thursday evening.
The BBC Sportscene pundit was stunned by the return to form of the Croatian, insisting his delivery was better than James Tavernier’s.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst put his faith in Barisic to make the difference, and he certainly did that down the left.

Speaking live on BBC coverage as shared on the blog, Foster was simply stunned by what he was seeing from the defender.
“Last season Borna Barisic was fantastic,” he said.
“He got injured on international duty and really struggled. He has not found anywhere near the form this term.
“In the past two games, he’s come back, and he’s already put in three fantastic crosses. He’s probably even better at crosses than James Tavernier when he’s on his game.”

There he is.
Wow, this is the Barisic we have been dying to see all season.
After his last injury, things have never been the same, not even close for the Croatian, but on the big stage, he has returned.
Some of the deliveries into the box were unplayable, and if it weren’t for some dodgy calls, he would have had an assist.
After the Portuguese side went down to 10 men, there was only one winner, and Barisic had all of the freedom in the world.
The left-back was tormenting the opposition but won’t get the headlines after Tavernier’s goalscoring antics in Europe yet again.
With a huge game to come against Celtic over the weekend, this is the level we need from Barisic and those around him, bring it on.
