Spotted: Cole McKinnon celebrates Rangers B goal in front of Celtic fans at Parkhead
It has been a rough few weeks for Rangers fans.
Bears have seen their side lose in the Old Firm, effectively ending their bid to win the Scottish Premiership title while our spot in the Europa League semi-finals is also hanging on by a threat.
But fans can take great delight in Cole McKinnon grabbing a winner for the Rangers B team on Tuesday night [12 April] as they won 1-0 against Celtic B at Parkhead.

As Ange Postecoglou watched on in Glasgow’s East End, 19-year-old McKinnon ensured that the mini Old Firm derby would be won by the young men in blue in the Lowland League.
The midfielder’s cushioned header won all three points but it wasn’t the goal itself that will cheer up Gers fans, it was his celebration.
Video footage has emerged on Twitter that shows McKinnon wheeling away towards the home fans at Celtic Park.
The 19-year-old slides on his knees and is joined by the majority of his teammates to revel in the glory in front of the on-looking Celtic fans.
You can see how unhappy some of those home supporters were, clearly rattled by the actions of a young teenager.
It’s a brief respite in what have been a testing few weeks for Rangers.
But it doesn’t matter what level we beat them at, as long as we’re beating them and boiling some tempers along the way, that’s what we love to see.
In other Rangers news, Michael Stewart was stunned by this “sensational” BBC footage he was shown of a Gers ace.
