Rangers urged to move ‘very soon’ on ‘incredible’ Alfredo Morelos by Nacho Novo
Rangers “need to do something very soon” if they are to prevent losing one their “best players” in Alfredo Morelos according to Nacho Novo.
The Colombian striker is currently ruled out for the rest of the season after surgery on a thigh injury, and by the time he is fit again will be into the final year of his contract at Ibrox.
Without a new deal the club are going to have to find a replacement sooner or later, and also face losing a key asset for cheap, or even nothing, so Novo wants action fast.

The former Light Blues star told Premier Sports, via Football Scotland: “He’s been incredible and he’s massively proven how good he is, since he joined Rangers.
“He’s always improving and overall, he’s a great player.
“I think Rangers will need to do something very soon.
“You don’t want to lose your best players.”
Make or break
Whether El Bufalo has played his last for the club or not, one thing is clear and that is the Bears need to take some sort of action quickly.
Their Champions League hopes for next season are hanging by a thread, with the title defence likely over and only Europa League glory giving them a ticket in.
Morelos has been the subject of interest on numerous occasions in the past, and his form under Giovanni van Bronckhorst is sure to have increased that.

Only the injury that has proved a major blow to the team’s season stands in the way of summer bids for the goalscorer.
It will be bad to lose him, such is the current reliance on his ability, but considering the size of the task of replacing him, a cut-price or even free transfer exit will make that task even harder.
They won’t be able to stand in his way forever if they can’t give him the platform to play on the highest stage.
But at the very least a new contract will insulate Gers from having to give him away, and allow them to receive proper value if he moves on.
In other Rangers news, the player ratings were a major improvement in the 4-0 victory at St Mirren.
