Kris Boyd unleashes on Rangers board after ‘awful’ developments in April

Kris Boyd has emptied both barrels on the Rangers board after developments over the past month at Ibrox.

The cancelled Australia tour was followed by pointless ‘Old Firm’ branding around the stadium before the 2-1 defeat to Celtic.

Boyd insisted nonsense such as that means nothing compared to results, and the fans “boiling point” is about to explode.

Writing in his latest column for The Sun, Boyd certainly didn’t hold back when looking into developments over the past month.

“It’s like they go out of their way to provoke people at Rangers,” he wrote. “But if they are not careful in the next ten days, it will be their own supporters they rile more than anyone.

“Yet that’s what’s going on inside Ibrox these days, with too many people losing sight of what actually matters.

“And they will soon realise their fans aren’t interested in all that nonsense if results go south.

“It’s like a pot is on the stove right now, and the heat has just been turned up. Fans are simmering and close to reaching boiling point.”

Rangers

Joke.

This season has unravelled far too quickly, and it just shows that any cracks were papered over in the summer.

This squad needed revamping, regardless of the invincible season, with the transfer window not good enough from Ross Wilson.

Free transfers were used too much, and the one area that needed addressing, Alfredo Morelos cover, was ignored.

Wilson is just one of the problems in this current board, and they all have some explaining to do this season, as these decisions continue to just slide downhill.

The only thing that matters right now are results, and the Bears need to win every last game of the season if they have any chance of lifting the title.

Going far in the Europa League and winning the Scottish Cup would not make us forget should we lose the title after being in command for so long.
