Johnly Yfeko signs news Rangers contract until 2024 – report
Rangers defender Johnly Yfeko has penned a new contract at Ibrox until 2024, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper has reported on their website that the new summer signing has already extended his stay after less than a year at the club.
Yfeko arrived after leaving Leicester City and looks to have impressed in the Lowland League for the ‘B’ side.

Yfeko was said to have gone under the radar at Ibrox after arriving and going straight into David McCallum’s set-up.
That hasn’t stopped him from turning heads and blowing away Ibrox figures for them to hand him a new deal yet again.
In the same mould as Calvin Bassey, the young defender can play at left-back as well as in the heart of the back four.

Future.
Could Yfeklo be the next youngster to come through the ranks?
Leon king will be hoping for a bigger role should the likes of Connor Goldson move on once his contract expires.
Yfeklo offers much more versatility though, and with question marks surrounding the future of Borna Barisic, he could get that chance.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will have been consulted about this new deal, with the defender having arrived before him on a free deal.
If he is anything like Bassey, we can expect a quick, strong, agile defender who is a nightmare for attackers in their final third.
This is the first new contract we want to see in the coming weeks and months in Glasgow, with numerous players facing tricky futures with their deals running down.
