Jim White tells Rangers fans to ‘pipe down’ after defeat to Braga
Rangers fans have been told to ‘pipe down’ by talkSPORT host Jim White, after some voiced their frustration at the manager following defeat to Braga.
The Bears made it consecutive defeats in midweek after being beaten 1-0 in the Europa League quarter-final first leg, following up defeat in the Old Firm derby.
Some fans were unhappy with the way Giovanni van Bronckhorst performed his duties as manager in the games, but White told his talkSPORT show with Simon Jordan [April 8] that he couldn’t understand their annoyance.

“Many Rangers fans are not happy that van Bronckhorst is entrusted as the man to take Rangers forward,” he said.
“I think there’s an element of the Rangers support needs to pipe down.
“I could understand it if it was 3 or 4-0 Braga, but it’s not, they can still do them at Ibrox.”
Get behind the team
Whether Van Bronckhorst is the man for the future we simply don’t know right now.
He took over with great success initially from Steven Gerrard, but recently he has struggled with the bigger games and has seen the title race do a complete 180.

After having a six-point advantage during the winter break, they’re now six points behind Celtic after losing both Old Firm derbies, but they’re still in two other competitions.
The fans may be unhappy, but it shouldn’t be forgotten just how good the team have been this season under the Dutch coach.
There are issues to iron and and thinks to fix, for sure, but for this final run the club needs to be united and get behind the manager and the squad to fire them to glory.
It’s a tough moment but if anyone can dig them out of it it’s the fans, and that’s exactly what they should be doing.
