Alfredo Morelos sends Rangers message after season-ending injury
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has broken his silence on Instagram after suffering a season-ending injury while on international duty.
The Colombian underwent surgery for a thigh injury this week and will miss the rest of the campaign, with the light blues battling for three trophies currently.
But after the news of his injury broke, the striker had stayed silent until now when he posted an image in his native Spanish on his official Instagram account.

“God chose you for a purpose. Don’t give up,” the image said, with Morelos following it up with two prayer emojis.
Morelos has assured Rangers fans that he won’t be giving up on making a full recovery, although the full extent of his injury is still currently unknown.
Goodbye?
Blues fans will be really hopeful that it isn’t the last we’ve seen of the 25-year-old at Ibrox as a Rangers player, but his future is currently up in the air.
Morelos is entering the final 12 months of his contract this summer and has previously attracted interest from Premier League and La Liga clubs for a transfer.

His form this season is unlikely to have put anyone off making a move, so it’s very possible that a deal gets agreed and he never puts on the famous blue shirt once again.
But if he does return to the club next season, he has made it clear that he has every intention of getting back to his best and rediscovering the form he found under Giovanni van Bronckhorst this season.
If he does leave, fans will be gutted but they will at least know he gave everything he had to the club during his time in Scotland and will leave with the best wishes of everyone.
