Rangers could recall Cedric Itten to first-team squad after Alfredo Morelos injury
Cedric Itten could reportedly be recalled to fill in the squad places as Alfredo Morelos is not expected to feature again for Rangers this season.
According to the Scotsman, the Swiss attacker could be recalled by Giovanni van Bronckhorst if the striking situation at the club worsens.
He was recalled from his loan spell at Greuther Furth in January, but has not played since mid-Februrary, with a series of games for the B team.

Make the most
Itten seems to be on his way out in the summer, but while he’s at Ibrox, it makes sense for GvB to make the most of him.
His side have struggled in front of goal with their talisman Morelos missing and they now have to play the entirety of the campaign without him.
While Itten is in no way a proven goal scorer, he just gives the manager a different option.
Both Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala have struggled in front of goal this season for Rangers.

Amad Diallo, who was roped in on loan from Manchester United, has also failed to hit the ground running.
GvB does not seem to rate the youngster too much and has used him sparingly since his arrival in January.
It remains to be seen how he deals with this current problem he has on his hands and whether he turns to Ryan Kent to become the focal point of the attack.
In other Rangers news, the club have terminated a major deal citing a breach of contract which also comprises of significant branding issues.
