talkSPORT pundit Ambrose: ‘Disgraceful’ Rangers fans should be jailed

Darren Ambrose wants the Rangers fans who threw bottles on the pitch and injured people during the Celtic clash to be banned from football.

Gers lost the Old Firm derby and the gap between them and their rivals is now up to six points.

A select bunch of fans decided to take matters into their own hands and risked the safety of players and staff members.

Speaking about this live on talkSPORT, Ambrose said, “They’re scumbags who are spoiling it for 50,000 people out there. This is beamed around the world.

“Someone having stitches in their head because of charred glasses, it’s disgraceful.

“They should be jailed and banned from football forever.”

Unacceptable

What happened at the Ibrox, cannot be condoned, regardless, of which team you’re supporting.

It was unacceptable and something that should not be seen anywhere in society, let alone in a football match.

Rangers fans are surprised why there’s some much hatred among the footballing community and this is exactly why.

rangers

It was a game and their side came out second best in it.

They should take the loss on their chin and be disappointed, surely, but not react in such a disgusting way.

They’re representing their club and Scottish football as a whole and the club must come down hard on them and certainly assist the police in carrying out arrests for what is a barbaric act.

In other Rangers news, the club have terminated a major deal citing a breach of contract which also comprises of significant branding issues.
