Kenny Miller stunned on BBC Sportscene by Rangers star Aaron Ramsey v Celtic

Kenny Miller was left stunned by Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey in the 2-1 defeat against Celtic on Sunday afternoon.

The BBC Sportscene pundit insisted the early goal was a “wonderful” finish as he started his first Old Firm game on fire.

Ramsey became the first player since Joe Garner to score in his opening derby game, although in the end, it was in vain.

Speaking to BBC Sportscene last night [04 April], Miller was thrilled by the Welshman for his role at Ibrox.

“That’s a wonderful finish,” he said. “It looks simple, but he just gets the side foot connection towards the goal and it’s enough.

“Really, really good finish. He was just affecting the game at this stage, Aaron Ramsey, and this is what the Rangers fans want to see.”

Rangers

Wonderful.

It is hard to feel anything positive today if we’re being brutally honest.

Ramsey getting his goal set up a magic moment at Ibrox in the opening three minutes, but it only went downhill after that.

Hopefully, he can kick on and this can give him the confidence to keep pushing on from midfield and finding the back of the net.

Now, the Scottish Premiership title looks all but gone, so we will need something special from people like Ramsey to turn it around.

With the likes of Joe Aribo simply shocking in recent weeks and months, someone else needs to step up, and big-money Ramsey needs to be that man.

Someone needs to give this squad a rocket, and confidence could crash, starting against Braga on Thursday evening.
