Graham Spiers flies off hinges at Rangers official media partner on Twitter

Graham Spiers has once again flown off the hinges at Rangers for their official partnership with Follow Follow.

It was announced back in August that the forum would be an official partner of the club, with fans now getting the privilege of replacing the mainstream media.

Spiers has consistently ridiculed that decision, and once again took aim at Stewart Robertson and the club for what he calls a “depressing” decision.

Writing on his personal Twitter account yesterday [01 April, 9:42 pm], Spiers once again went after the Bears.

“For years people have spoken about the sheer squalor, filth and bigotry found on Follow Follow,” he wrote.

“Just how Stewart Robertson and Rangers have contrived to make this cesspit ‘an official media partner’ of the club is utterly depressing.”

Here we go.

Of course, this one post isn’t great, we can’t deny that.

But, where is Spiers when these platforms are used to bring the fans great coverage of the club, whether than be pre or post-match interviews?

It also hands them the chance to discuss all of these matters in a space where only they can, giving them the freedom to do so.

Rangers have had few problems with the media compared to what they have had with the likes of the BBC over the years.

With the Old Firm clash with Celtic around the corner, it is no surprise to see the likes of Spiers pick up on these things though, the media is going wild for this huge clash.

The mainstream media have been trying to keep fans away for years, and now they are at the forefront of the club, they don’t like it, it is as simple as that.
