Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action this Sunday [April 3] with their biggest game in years against Celtic.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has some major decisions to make and will be sweating over the fitness of some of his key men.

Alfredo Morelos has been described as a “huge” doubt after being spotted on crutches on his way to London for a scan on Thursday [Glasgow Evening Times].

Allan McGregor will start in goal yet again, with the veteran returning to some of his best form in recent weeks.

James Tavernier and Calvin Bassey will keep their spots at full-back, with Borna Barisic certainly not trusted after the last Old Firm.

Connor Goldson will stay in defence, but it will be Filip Helander alongside him, with the Swede’s physicality needed against Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Ryan Jack returned to the international stage over the break and will come back to anchor the midfield at Ibrox.

John Lundstram has been phenomenal with Jack alongside him, and that partnership in the middle of the park will be critical once again.

Aaron Ramsey is finally going to get the chance to show us why we took the gamble to bring him to Glasgow, getting the nod over Glen Kamara, who is unfortunate.

The Welshman completed nearly 100 minutes against Austria last week but was thankfully rested against the Czech Republic.

Ryan Kent will start as normal and will have added responsibility with Morelos expected to miss out at Ibrox.

Joe Aribo will be pushed forward into that front three, with the Nigerian star needing to step up after months of nothing – this is the perfect time.

With Morelos likely to miss out now, Kemar Roofe will be rewarded with a start after looking sharp off the bench in recent weeks.
