BBC pundit Mark Hateley predicts Rangers v Celtic, makes ‘young’ McGregor admission
Mark Hateley believes that Rangers can get the job done over Celtic in Sunday’s Old Firm Derby.
He sees home advantage as a deciding factor and thinks that the title race will be back to a stalemate going into the final few weeks of the campaign.
However, he has urged the big-name Gers players to show up and prove that they’re matchwinners.

He said, via the Scottish Sun, “I’m always going to back Rangers, especially playing at home.
“I’ve seen enough of when their top players come to the party – I’m talking about (Alfredo) Morelos, (Ryan) Kent, Ramsey now, (Connor) Goldson is in form, Allan McGregor is making saves a young keeper would be making.
“If all these players turn up on the day and perform, as they’ve shown in Europe in big games, Rangers can beat anybody.
“But they need all their top stars at the party.”
Spot on
In the reverse fixture, none of the big players showed up and were subdued from minute one.
As expected, Parkhead was buzzing from minute one and Gers failed to fight against the odds to secure the win.

However, this time, they do have things in their favour in terms of the venue, form as well as fitness records.
Ramsey is also expected to be available for this one and big-name players are the ones who can turn things around in crunch encounters.
Hopefully, the likes of Morelos and Kent are on their A game as a few early attacks could see Gers control proceedings for the rest of the contest.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
