Jim White calls on Rangers star Ryan Jack to step up for Scotland if needed
Jim White has called upon Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack to be one of those to stand up for Scotland if needed.
The talkSPORT host namedropped the Bears ace after the possibility of penalties to get into the World Cup was brought up.
Scotland still have to get past Ukraine and Wales before booking their spots, with penalties potentially deciding their fate.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning [30 March, 11:28 am], the host picked out some names.
“You need players who are fearless,” he said.
“So step up John McGinn, step up Kieran Tierney, step up Ryan Jack.”

Fearless.
If anyone epitomises that word, it would be Jack after everything he has gone through in recent months and years.
His injuries have not held him back, though, and if anything they have made him stronger upon his latest return.
The midfielder has been pivotal for Giovanni van Bronckhorst since he came back, and he will do the same for Steve Clarke in these huge qualifiers.
If anyone was to step up and be counted in a potential penalty shootout, it would be Jack, and that is why White most likely named him ahead of the attackers Lyndon Dykes and Che Adams.
Of course, he isn’t known for his attacking antics so it may not end well, but stepping up with that confidence is all that matters.
Jack is set for a huge month at club level first, with two games against Celtic and the Europa League quarter-finals with Braga to come.
Time to show just how fearless he is.
