Aston Villa are now “desperate” to snatch Rangers attacking sensation Rory Wilson, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper has reported on their website that the English Premier League side want the Scotland under-17 wonderkid.
It has been reported that the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are in the race, with things really starting to heat up [Daily Star].
Brighton are also said to be in the race for Wilson, with David Weir continually looking to raid Auchenhowie for our best talent.
Despite all of this news with clubs appearing to be in a queue, there is still hope at Ibrox that the wonderkid may stick around.
The Scottish Daily Express have reported that Wilson has not yet asked to leave Glasgow, with the hope he can ignore the interest.
It is reported that Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson have been left encouraged by those developments.
