Charlie Nicholas tips Rangers ace Aaron Ramsey to start in Old Firm
Charlie Nicholas believes Giovanni van Bronckhorst might switch things up against Celtic and start out of favour Rangers ace Aaron Ramsey.
The Welsh international played the full 90 minutes on Thursday [March 24] as Wales took one step closer to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with a 2-1 win over Austria.
Nicholas was adamant the Juventus midfielder is good enough for the “big occasion” with his recent boost in form potentially earning him a start for the Old Firm clash at Ibrox.

He wrote in his Scottish Daily Express column: “I have a feeling that Aaron Ramsey could come into the mix on Sunday.
“He has done well in his last two games for Rangers and Wales. Does he start in this game?
“I have seen enough of him in an Arsenal jersey to know he can cause problems on the big occasion.”
About time.
These are the type of games that Ramsey was brought to the club for.
He has failed to make a proper impact in Glasgow since joining the Gers with a lack of match fitness and injuries hindering the 31-year-old.

It seems funny looking back to people comparing the signing to that of Paul Gascoigne’s back in the day but even that seemed a stretch when he first arrived in January.
However, in recent weeks he has made some very positive steps forward and he might just be ready enough to make his impact as the Light Blues approach the business end of the season.
They could definitely call on his quality and experience in the huge games they have coming up, not just this weekend’s title decider.
Ramsey has great Champions League experience that would put him in good stead as the Bears look to move past Braga in the Europa League quarter-finals. Hopefully, he can stay fit and make his time at Ibrox worthwhile with some key performances.
