Wales coach Rob Page issues update on Rangers ace Ramsey ahead of Celtic clash
Rob Page is set to leave Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey out of the playing eleven for the Wales v Czech Republic clash on Wednesday.
The Wales coach claims that Ramsey, along with Gareth Bale were feeling fatigued after their last game.
This would come as good news to Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who would want his best players fit and available for the Old Firm game v Celtic on April 2.
Speaking on Sky Sports, via Football Daily, he said, “They both struggled with their groins and hamstrings. They both had a tough 95 minutes.”
Great news
This is precisely what Gers needed ahead of the Old Firm clash.
While Ramsey may not start this one, he will certainly be on the bench and could have an impact coming off it.
He’s played in a number of big games throughout his career and this too, should be right up there with some of them.
The experience that he’ll get from them is second to none and he could apply that against Celtic.

Gers cannot have any excuses for not winning this win as it’s a key game that could determine the outcome of the SPFL title.
Anything other than three points will be a blow while a loss would almost put them out of contention.
As things stand, Rangers still have their future in their own hands and must do everything to beat their rivals.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
