Tam McManus takes swipe at Rangers and Celtic fans after Ibrox incident
Tam McManus has lashed out at Rangers and Celtic supporters by claiming that they are always waiting to be offended by something.
This comes after Paul Gascoigne was accused of tripping a young boy at Ibrox over the weekend in the build-up to the Rangers Legends v World Legends clash.
M&N Management clarified that he was Gazza’s agent’s son, which led to McManus throwing some punches.
He wrote, via his personal Twitter account, “People desperate to be offended by anything now, especially on social media. Particularly when it comes to Celtic & Rangers fans point scoring. Tiresome. Amazing they have had to come out with a statement but such is life nowadays.”
True
It’s ridiculous to see people getting offended by such a small thing.
Everyone knows that Gasgoine would not do that with someone he does not know personally.
It was a light-hearted occasion and a light-hearted incident that certainly made fans who saw it burst out into laughs.

The tribalism online is at an all time high and surely Celtic fans would have taken the opportunity to have a go at Gers and Gazza for it.
Now that it’s cleared, hopefully, the dust settles because it’s a pointless thing that should not be allowed to go on any further.
Hopefully, the talk about Rangers and Celtic can now be about what happens on the pitch as there’s a title at stake and two Old Firm derbies coming up.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
