Kris Boyd makes SPFL title prediction ahead of Rangers v Celtic
Kris Boyd expects Rangers and Celtic to keep fighting for the SPFL title until the very end of the season.
Gers led the table for a majority of the campaign but lost ground on their rivals midway through it.
A 3-0 loss against Celtic saw the Hoops take a step forward, leaving Gers with some points to catch up.

Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of the Legends game, Boyd said, “You’re at home against your arch-rivals, it’s a must-win, especially with the way the league is at this moment in time as well. It’s really tight.
“Rangers will see this as an opportunity to go level, but it’s where we should be in terms of our league towards the end of the season – both huge football clubs going hammer and tongs at it because for the last number of years somebody has run away with it.
“It’s not been competitive for a number of years but this season you feel as if it’s going to go right to the wire.”
Cannot lose
Gers cannot afford to lose the title after leading the season for so many weeks.

Blaming Steven Gerrard’s exit for their decline in form is clearly not an excuse.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst knows how much the title matters to the supporters, more importantly, beating Celtic is a special thing.
They need to go on a run after the international break and that involves enjoying back-to-back wins in six pointers against the Hoops.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
