Rangers star Ryan Jack wows BBC pundit for ‘selfless’ performance in Scotland draw
Scotland earned a gritty draw at home to Poland last night in a friendly and they had Rangers ace, Ryan Jack, to thank for helping them get there.
The 30-year-old may have only played 13 minutes having replaced Callum McGregor but he showed his quality in that brief period to impress Steve Clarke.
Kieran Tierney had put Scotland ahead with just 20 minutes to play but the Poles denied them a seventh straight victory through a late Krzysztof Piatek penalty.

Jack was able to impress BBC Sportscene pundit Leanne Crichton during his second-half cameo despite failing to help the Scots hold onto victory.
“Ryan Jack is the one midfielder who is a bit different to the rest,” Crichton said.
“He reads the game so well, has such control, and almost sacrifices himself so others can play. He is very selfless. He would be a really good asset.”
Perfect team player
“Selfless” and “sacrifices” are words any manager would absolutely love to hear about one of their players and Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be rising a wry smile hearing Crichton’s words.
Jack’s pure determination to win at any cost has earned Rangers more points than many might realise and his importance is growing with every game he plays.

Clarke has seen just how influential the 30-year-old has become and his recall to the national side was exactly what he deserved.
van Bronckhorst and Clarke both have something that every manager in the world will be envious of in Jack who will put himself at the very bottom of the priority list just so his team can win.
Not every player does that which makes him arguably the most important asset to both his club and international side.
In other Rangers news, this Light Blues star has reportedly been ruled out of his international with a muscle overload injury.
