Ibrox View: Rangers flying head-on into another Billy Gilmour disaster after Rory Wilson news
Rangers fans were hit with the news on Friday that they could be about to lose yet another one of their young sensations.
The Daily Star reported that young striker Rory Wilson was set to reject his first professional contract at Ibrox to move south of the border.
It is said that both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and the likes of Leeds are all watching closely as the 17-year-old looks set to exit Glasgow.

Now, where have we seen that before?
Rangers are set to be left behind by another one of these young Scottish wonderkids, and what for? A measly sum of only £300,000 compensation.
This is just bringing all of the memories of when Billy Gilmour left to join Chelsea, all for peanuts yet again.
Now, the midfielder is playing regular Premier League football and is starring for Scotland under Steve Clarke in each break.
Sky Sports shared back in 2017 that Rangers only received £500,000 for Gilmour, with certain add-ons, although we’re certain he will be worth much more than that now.

Shocker.
For all of the good work done by Ross Wilson and his team, this is certainly an area where they need to up their game.
We cannot afford to let the likes of Gilmour and Wilson leave so cheaply at such a young age, with the pathway possibly needing to improve.
Having said that, English clubs simply have more money to throw around and that is what talks at the end of the day.
Wilson looks set to easily smash whatever Rangers were offering him out of the park with what deal he is set to receive in England, and we can’t kid ourselves thinking otherwise.
What more can be done? It looks like we’re going head-on into another disaster.
