View: BBC Scotland post shows fans have forgotten about Rangers star Ryan Jack

Rangers star Ryan Jack has finally risen to the top at Ibrox once again after consistently returning to action after his injuries.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been able to rely on him in recent months, and he has played a huge role in this Europa League run.

That has also led to international recognition once again, with Scotland set to take on Poland at Hampden Park tonight [24 March].

Despite his rise back to form, it appears as though most Scottish fans have forgotten about Jack and what he can.

BBC Scotland have shared what most fans have selected as their starting XI this evening, and it isn’t looking good.

Jack has been ignored, and would likely sit on the bench if this was anything to go by, behind the likes of Billy Gilmour.

Alongside the Norwich loanee in this XI was John McGinn and Callum McGregor in this 5-3-2 formation.

Forgotten.

This is a joke.

No one can deny that Gilmour has been shining for Scotland when called upon, but his domestic form has been nothing short of embarrassing.

On loan at Norwich, the former Bears talent can’t even get a start for a Premier League side who are stuck to the bottom in their dogfight with Leeds two weeks ago.

If Gilmour was undroppable at Carrow Road like Jack currently is at Ibrox, then we would not be surprised, but the latter simply has to start right now.

Jack is in the form of his career at this moment of time in recent years, with his consistency out of this world.

WhoScored have given a match rating of over seven only twice this season for Gilmour, compared to Jack who has been untouchable.

Steve Clarke may think differently compared to the fans and the BBC, and we hope that Jack is rewarded for his form and return to the top.
