Club 1872 fires shots at Rangers trio Robertson, Bisgrove and Graham

Club 1872 has raised concerns over the Rangers management and has singled out Stewart Robertson, James Bisgrove and David Graham.

This has come after the club’s decision to compete in a friendly tournament in Australia which involves facing off against arch rivals Celtic.

They are Gers’ sixth largest shareholders and believe that the Executive Team are to be blamed for the lack of trust in the club hierarchy.

They released a statement that included, “In recent weeks, following the announcement of Rangers’ participation in the Sydney Cup in Australia, supporters have begun to publicly and vocally question the judgement, competence and honesty of the Rangers’ Executive Team.

“It is the opinion of the Club 1872 Board that not only are they correct to do so, but that it is crucial for the future health of the club that they do so.

“The experience of Club 1872 Directors, both past and present, is that Rangers’ Executive Team, led by Stewart Robertson, James Bisgrove and David Graham, has developed an extremely unhealthy disdain for the Rangers support and that inaccurate information has regularly been disseminated through the club’s own public statements, briefings to fan media and highly selective leaks to a small group of individuals within the Rangers support.”

Strange

Club 1872 have not shown any transparency about their conversations and randomly issue statements like these.

They cannot take shots at the people who have literally spent money from their pockets to keep the club afloat.

It sounds like they’re craving the limelight and are deciding to fire at the men in charge to be relevant.

This is the time when the club needs support as it’s a crucial period of the season.

The last thing they would want is such petty off-field distractions that would split the fanbase.

In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
