Rangers fans show protest during first-half v Dundee
Rangers fans vented their frustration and lodged a protest during the Gers’ Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee at Dens Park.
The Gers fans have been furious ever since it was confirmed that the club will play a friendly with Celtic in Australia.
After Dundee took a 1-0 lead against the Bears, the visiting fans continued to protest with a stream of tennis balls being thrown onto the pitch.

Jim Duffy has shared his reaction on the BBC Sport website: “You’re right to protest as long as it’s done in a safe and appropriate manner, but they’re disrupting the flow of the game and affecting their own team.”
Silly
This was absolutely silly from the home fans. While they have every right to protest against situations they are unhappy about, there’s little sense in disrupting the game.
The Gers were already a goal down, and it hampered their rhythm to lodge a strong reply.
Earlier the game was delayed after Rangers fans threw toilet rolls on the pitch.

Coming back to the game, Aaron Ramsey, who made a league start, failed to prevent Jordan Marshall firing in a cross to the back post, and wing-back Christie Elliott made the full use of it.
It was horrible defending with the Gers players kept watching without attacking the ball.
Alfredo Morelos came close to finding the equaliser but the Colombian will be disappointed to send his header just wide from 10 yards out.
Connor Goldson, who opened the scoring at Dens Park last weekend, also came close to scoring again, but he couldn’t keep his shot on target.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
