Rangers confirmed XI v Dundee

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has named his Rangers XI to take on Dundee in the SPFL today.

Key player Joe Aribo will have to be content only with a spot on the bench as the Dutchman has gone for Scott Arfield.

He’s also made a big call on Aaron Ramsey, naming him in his playing XI ahead of Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara.

Must win

With Celtic registering a 4-0 victory this weekend, Gers have no option but to get the three points here.

Dundee aren’t a team that are likely to pose any real threats but GvB’s side must not get complacent.

There have been plenty of games this season when they’ve started slowly and failed to get out of second gear.

Hopefully, their recent successes in Europe are still playing on their minds and they come out all guns blazing from minute one.

A win here would put Rangers back within three points of rivals Celtic who currently lead the table.

However, there are two Old Firm games left in the league still so there’s a chance for Gers to go three points clear should they win both.

In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
