Jim Duffy hails Giovanni van Bronckhorst for key calls in Rangers win
Jim Duffy was left in awe of Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronkhorst for his “tactical masterclass” against Dundee.
The Gers found themselves 1-0 down going into the break after a very lacklustre display but managed to turn the game around to secure a 2-1 win, keeping the pressure on league leaders Celtic.
The BBC pundit hailed the strength and mentality of the Light Blues as a “major factor” for their late turnaround.

He said on BBC Sports’ live coverage of the game: “Rangers changed everything in the second-half. The mentality, attitude, tempo and personnel.
“Their squad strength was a major factor in turning the game and Dundee just got worn down. It was a tactical masterclass from Giovanni Van Bronckhorst.”
Huge win
Wow, what a game that was. Rangers really do like to make things difficult and give their fans a fright, don’t they?
It was a lazy performance in the first half against Dundee but whatever the Dutchman said to the players at half time really made a difference.

They came out with better tempo, looking like a completely different team and you could see the goal was coming.
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how you win as long as you get the three points. Especially with the Bears being behind and the relentless title race looking likely to go right down to the wire.
Kemar Roofe deserves a special mention. He had a hand in both of the Rangers goals after coming on as a sub. Van Bronckhorst needs to utilise his bench much more because there’s loads of quality sitting on it.
Not to mention the upcoming European games having a massive impact on the Gers’ league performances.
