Kevin Anderson shares reaction after Rangers Europa League QF confirmed
Rangers will face Braga in the quarter-finals of the Europa League after the draw was made today (18 March).
Kevin Anderson has shared his reaction on Twitter just after the draw was made. The first leg will be in Portugal, which gives the Gers an extra advantage in this tie.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side progressed to the last eight after beating Red Star Belgrade 4-2 on aggregate.

Anderson wrote on Twitter: “Got to be happy with that.”
Big chance
The Gers will face either Atalanta or RB Leipzig in the semi-final if they progress through to the next round.
With Barcelona facing Frankfurt in the other quarter-final, there is a chance that the Bears could face either the Catalan giants or West Ham in the final as well.
This is indeed a very good draw, and the Gers can expect to reach the semi-final stages, even though it won’t be an easy tie.

Rangers have previously faced Braga, two years back, and they are well aware of what to expect from the Portuguese outfit.
It will be very important to keep their shape intact in the first leg. If Rangers can win away from home, which they did already against Borussia Dortmund, they will be in greater control of the tie.
In fact, a draw won’t be a bad result either. The second leg being at home will add extra advantage, and the Gers should capitalise on it.
