BBC man Tom English cannot believe eyes as Rangers cruise past Red Star into Europa League quarter-finals
Tom English could not believe his eyes as Rangers cruised into the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday.
The Bears swept Red Star Belgrade aside 4-2 on aggregate in two fiery legs with the Serbians, setting up a huge tie next month.
BBC journalist English rarely sees eye-to-eye with those at Ibrox, but even he was left impressed with the results this season in Europe.

Writing on his personal Twitter account late last night (17 March), English was clearly stunned by the success.
“On the back of eliminating Borussia Dortmund, this is remarkable from Rangers,” he wrote.
“Ten goals scored in the four games. Into the last eight. That’s serious stuff.”
Remarkable.
You know when English takes time out of his day to fire some praise towards the Bears, that something is going very right.
It was a fiesty encounter in Serbia last night, and many teams would have crumbled after conceding an early goal in the clash.
Instead, the Gers rallied and equalised in the second half through Ryan Kent before a late penalty saw us lose on the night – that didn’t matter, though.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has to take huge credit for what he has achieved in Europe since he arrived, going one step past what Steven Gerrard managed in the competition.
The final eight will mean big financial rewards, as well as a huge tie against potentially Barcelona, or even going south of the border to take on West Ham.
We don’t stop there, though, bring them all on – we’re off all the way.
