View: Aaron Ramsey having big impact at Rangers despite injury issues
Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey is having a much bigger impact at the club than his game time suggests.
The Welshman is a veteran of the game, and has played with some of the best players in the world throughout his long and successful career.
The 31-year-old hasn’t quite made the splash expected of him when he jumped into the Ibrox pool but his impact amongst the squad can’t be taken for granted.

The Juventus man is a senior man amongst the squad and maybe without even realising is having a massive influence on the younger players.
“James has done really well and he has settled,” said Ramsey as per Daily Record. “He gets stuck in, gets about and he did well against Dundee.
“It’s a good environment for any player to come into. We have a great group here and they make it easy for people to settle in.”
Asked about the emergence of McCann and Lowry, Ramsey added: “You get a lot of good players coming through in a big club like this.
“It’s important to have that competition between ourselves.”
James Sands admitted it is “great” to have the Wales international to learn from: “That helped me settle into the game. It’s great to have the likes of Ryan Jack and Aaron Ramsey in the team beside me.
“They are always talking to me and they make my job a lot easier. There’s a positive feeling around the place right now.”

Silver lining
Everyone expected Ramsey to come to Rangers and make a season-defining impact. His record speaks for himself that’s true, but it depends on how you look at it.
He has played in the best tournaments in the world, with the best players, performing terrifically, that is true.
However, he has spent so much of his career on the treatment table which many Gers fans simply chose to ignore, which means he has barely even played since joining in January.
It is a shame he hasn’t made an impact on the pitch but his presence around the squad could prove huge.
Many of the Bears players would have been in awe of the former Arsenal player when he came in, especially the younger ones.
They now all have the chance to learn from him in training every single day as well as gain crucial advice from talking to the maestro.
He can act almost as a coach with his knowledge of the game is that good and Sands’ comments about learning from Ramsey only emphasise that.
