UEFA release Ibrox footage from Rangers win v Red Star Belgrade
UEFA have released footage from the Ibrox during the 3-0 Rangers win over Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League.
Gers delivered in front of their home fans with an array of impressive finishes throughout the course of the 90 minutes.
While Leon Balogun’s goal was the pick of the bunch, it was James Tavernier’s penalty that sent the crowd into rafters.
Via their official Twitter account, UEFA wrote, “The penalty, the atmosphere, the camera angle.
“Europa League nights at Ibrox!”
What an atmosphere
Nothing beats European nights at Ibrox and the video proves exactly that.
Fans are up for the game hours before the referee even blows his whistle and the roads surrounding the stadium are filled with noisy fans singing and dancing to the Gers tunes.
The last few years have been rough but the team are now back to their glory days.
They’re all set to move to the quarter-finals and with some good fortune, they could even go all the way.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has certainly got this group of players ready for war and he can get them to achieve the improbable.
It’s undoubtedly going to be tough, but the players will back themselves as long as they have the fans’ support to fall back on.
Along with Europe, it’s also important that Gers regain their lead in the league as well and march on towards number 56.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
