Heart and Hand react as Rangers make behind-the-scenes appointment
Rangers have appointed a Disability Access Officer to help continue to make the club an inclusive environment for all supporters and visitors.
This has been seen as a step in the right direction and Heart and Hand welcomed this move from the Ibrox faithful.
David Elgar, who runs their Twitter handle, celebrated this move which has been widely accepted among all sets of fans.
He wrote, “Good. This should be a priority.”
Good move
Football clubs must do their bit to ensure that fans and visitors have the best possible experience watching games.
The sport has moved from hooliganism from the last century to a more civilised and orderly situation.
Rivalries still exist and the hate for the opposition is still the same, but there are lines that fans know they must not cross.
Making the game accessible to disabled people is undoubtedly the right step to go about things.

Hiring someone to specifically look after these people is an important thing and it’s good to see the club being on the right side of the issue.
Hopefully, this draws more and more people to the Ibrox and increases the fanbase of Gers, which is already in the millions.
This will be a proud moment for fans as they’ve always wanted their club to do the right thing and benefit the community in every way possible.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
