Simon Jordan: Rangers success in Europe is get of jail card for Giovanni van Bronckhorst
Simon Jordan has insisted that the Europa League could be a get out of jail card for Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Rangers this season.
The talkSPORT co-host hinted at the fact that Celtic are currently sitting at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Jordan believes that Van Bronckhorst performing well in Europe could take the pressure off him, although, it is coming.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan yesterday (11 March), the co-host shared an interesting theory of his own.
“Rangers success in Europe might be Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s get out of jail card this season,” he said.
“There is a distinct possibility that he could come under pressure.”

Pressure.
We are really getting down to the business end of the season now, with all competitions really heating up.
The Bears return to cup action at Dundee tomorrow (13 March) with a spot in the semi-finals at Hampden up for grabs yet again.
Then comes the small task of going to Belgrade to put Red Star to bed and reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
If that wasn’t enough, Celtic are still three points clear and that huge Old Firm game at Ibrox is only weeks away now.
Win that, and it blows the door wide open and Van Bronkhorst will have all of the momentum needed to bring home the title.
This is a huge four weeks ahead, and it’s time to really put our foot on the gas and charge towards all three of these pieces of silverware.
