Heart and Hand react to footage of Rangers defender Leon Balogun
Leon Balogun certainly impressed Heart and Hand after his goal for Rangers against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday night.
Gers ran out comfortable 3-0 winners and took a sizeable lead into the second leg of the tie.
Balogun’s goal was clearly the pick of the bunch and one fans would have watched a countless number of times.
Via their official Twitter handle, David Elgar said, “I’ve said this before but it’s still true – Leon Balogun is the coolest footballer about. Guy is icebox.”

Balogun is not known for his goal-scoring prowess but when he finds the back of the net, it’s often during moments like that.
He knows when to pick his time and makes the headlines and that’s precisely why he’s adored by the Gers faithful.
In his absence, the club looked slightly weak at the back, but he’s come back and solidified the defence at the right time.
If Gers are to win the league, it’s imperative that he stays fit from now until the end of the season.
Not only is he a quality player but also a leader and organiser – someone Giovanni van Bronckhorst has plenty of time for.
The Europa League tie looks all but decided and Gers can now focus on the league and ensuring that they keep the pressure on Celtic until the Old Firm derby on April 3.
