Rangers face Lundstram and Aribo scare ahead of Dundee clash
Rangers will be sweating over the fitness of John Lundstram and Joe Aribo ahead of their cup quarter-final clash against Dundee on Sunday.
According to Giovanni van Bronckhorst, via the club’s official media partner Heart & Hand, the duo have suffered knocks.
While there’s nothing to suggest that they are ruled out, they remain doubts going into the game.
Via their official Twitter account, David Elgar wrote, “Press Conference – Lundstram and Aribo took knocks last night and will be assessed ahead of Sunday.”
Will be fine
Aribo is a first-team regular and whenever he’s fit, he will play, regardless of the game.
However, getting a game off against Dundee in the cup may not be the worst idea in the world.
He’s had a long season and would welcome a much-needed break.

GvB would also want his players fit and in good spirits as they’re chasing Celtic in the SPFL title race.
If players are not at their hundred per cent, it makes little sense to risk them in cup games when there is nothing really to fight for.
Even if Gers do not have Aribo or Lundstram, they’ve got plenty of other players capable of fitting in and winning the game.
Dundee, with all due respect to them, should not cause the visitors any problems on Sunday and despite this double injury scare, we’re confident that GvB’s side will end up victorious.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
